Student-Driven Initiative

Collective reasoning,
reworked for the web.

cusb.link is a student-driven GitHub community for Central University of South Bihar. We keep the formal, information-first spirit of the university while presenting it with a cleaner, more contemporary interface.

About the University

A public-facing home for the student-driven initiative and its work.

Our Roots

Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) was established in 2009 by an Act of Parliament under the Central Universities Act, 2009. Originally operating from temporary premises in Patna, the university moved to its permanent campus at Panchanpur, Gaya in 2018.

The university has grown into a hub for interdisciplinary teaching and research in the social sciences, sciences, and humanities, serving students from across India.

Vision & Mission

To create knowledge through rigorous scholarship and to nurture socially committed citizens who contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

The community at cusb.link echoes this spirit — open collaboration, student-led innovation, and a GitHub-first approach to sharing our work with the world.

Life at Panchanpur

The campus at Gaya blends academic rigour with green, open spaces.

A Campus Among Fields

The 300-acre permanent campus sits between agricultural land and the rising terrain toward the historical hills of Gaya. The main academic block, library, and hostels frame a central green where students gather through the day.

Residential life shapes the culture here — hostels host festivals, study circles, and late-night discussions that spill into the courtyards at dawn.
